Easter is such a special time to slow down and reflect on the good news of Jesus! It’s also a great time to create meaningful memories with our kids. Whether you’re looking for a fresh Bible study, a beautiful new picture book, or a fun activity to bring some joy to the season, I’ve gathered a few of our favorite Easter ideas to share with you!

I was so excited to discover a new picture book called The Good News of Easter. My kids already know the Easter story pretty well, so I always love finding something that helps us dig a little deeper. This one shares the beautiful, redemptive message of Easter in rhythmic verse, paired with stunning illustrations. I also highly recommend The Garden, the Curtain, and the Cross by Carl Laferton.

Each year, I like to pick a new Easter Bible study or curriculum to go through with my kids. This year, I found a great resource from Hide & Seek Ministries on Amazon. It’s geared toward kids ages 8–12, and mine have really been enjoying the activities! Each section includes a Bible passage, activity pages, and thoughtful questions. I read the scriptures aloud while they work on the activities, and it’s been such a meaningful (and fun!) part of our Easter season.

In the past, we’ve also loved using The Jesus Storybook Bible for an Easter study, as well as The Wonder of Easter by Ed Drew.

Looking to add a little extra fun to your Easter celebration? I grabbed some bunny erasers from Dollar Tree and hid them all around the house. When the kids find eight bunnies, they can trade them in for a small prize. They’ve absolutely loved it—it’s been such a hit!

Next year, I’m planning to swap the bunnies for tiny Jesus erasers (wish I’d thought of that sooner!). It’s a sweet way to remind the kids that we should always be looking for Jesus in our everyday lives. If you’d like to try this too, you can find Jesus erasers on Amazon.

I hope these ideas help make your Easter season a little more meaningful—and a lot more fun! If you have a favorite Easter tradition or resource, I’d love to hear about it. Share in the comments or tag me so we can keep inspiring each other!
